Units
When you join the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), it’s like getting two memberships for the price of one with our state and provincial Units!
Units are CEC organizations that add to your experience as a professional special educator, at no additional membership cost to you. These organizations are there for you to connect with colleagues nearby, access local resources, engage in public policy efforts that impact your practice and your students directly, and attend local meet-ups and professional development events.
Our Units are powered by volunteer member leaders who generously share their time and talents to support your professional community. Because they balance this work with their own careers, responses may take a little extra time. Thank you for your understanding—and for joining us in appreciating these amazing volunteers for all they do!
