Call for Applications: Legacy Proclamation and Necrology Committee
CEC invites applications to serve on the Legacy Proclamation and Necrology Committee (LPNC). Operating on behalf of the CEC Board of Directors, the LPNC is a collaborative effort between CEC and the Division of Leaders and Legacy (DLL) and plays a vital role in honoring individuals whose leadership and service have shaped CEC and the field of special education. CEC members with strong attention to detail, a reflective and appreciative perspective, and a commitment to honoring service and leadership are encouraged to apply. Three-year terms begin in March 2026. One DLL member and one CEC member (not a member of DLL) will be selected. The deadline for applications is 12:00 pm Eastern, Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
